Winter's Last Stand?
After the northeaster a week ago, Ithaca's weather turned decidedly spring-like, but not before Nancy, Hickory, Elly, and Ryland turned our backyard into the ultimate snowy playground. In addition to an extended network of walk paths, there are snow people, a snow castle, a snow pony, and multiple snow couches to hang out. If any former Ithacans miss our winter, click on the Recent Photos link on the right pane and check out the fun photos from late February to early Match.
I missed all the fun, unfortunately. Two Sundays ago I lifted too heavy of a load while shoveling out the driveway and injured my back. When I thought I was well on the way to recovery, I stupidly drove a carload of recyclables to the dump across town last Friday. Bad move, especially it is impossible to explain to a crying toddler with the ergo in his hands why Dada can't pick him up, let alone "ergoing him to sleep"....
